I was alone, I refused to sleep, actually. I got a total of 3 hours while there. they were not taking my babe. lol

Congrats, job well done and a beautiful little girl!! : But somehow I missed the part where her name stopped being Gloriana and became (a wonderful name too!) Annalise?

I wondered the same thing too after I posted last night? Was it a quick change of heart?

I actually started to question her name a while back. I decided to change it, I didn't name her until I was leaving the hospital yesterday.

It drove the staff and my family crazy.

Cosleeping is awesome, I am just so in love with her. She slept from 11:30-about 4 am last night. I woke her at about 2 to nurse because I was so engorged, but she was sleepy. LOL

She only nursed 3 times and it was more like this AM around maybe 4 and 5 then at 6 when she woke. One feeding I woke for and she was nursing side lying and I had no idea how that even happened. A friend is sendng me some pics of her that she took.

She is pooping and peeing like a champ! Cloth diapering is going well and I am so happy to have her.

HEY THANKS! It was amazing. I read your comment on my other thread about the epidural. Honestly, I had one the first time around after a really long labor. I was disapointed then. This time I went to the hospital knowing that pain relief may be what I want or need. I look at it this way, I experienced transition for the first time which was amazing. I was just too tired and I am SO glad I got the epidural, there was no way I could have not pushed when they checked me and there was a lip left for almost 40 minutes. With the epidural I was able to still get on all fours and actually relax.

I did have a sore back after, but nothing that I couldn't handle and with a few days of Motrin I was as good as new. Baby also bfed really well right away. I only had the epi for about an hour total.

I think pain meds can be a wonderful resource when needed or wanted.
