Carriers?

What are your fav's for the early days? I have and Mom and Me pouch that I loved, and a Moby that I loved when I could get it on right. I have a Pikkolo that was my favorite once Sam go to be about 4 months. I haven't found the Beco love (though I've tried both the regular and the butterfly in a couple of different versions) or the Ergo love. Anything I should set my sights on?

We did a lot of pouch when DD was really little, then moved to the Beco at a few months old. Because of her reflux, it was one of the only places she would nap. We took LOTS of walks.

Never liked the Moby, want to love ring slings but never could.

I think I'm just an SSC kinda gal.

Jen I kind of think I am a SSC type of gal too, but I really think I want to try wrapping. Or one of those double pouch type systems that are like a wrap better less intimidating. I saw a Mama with this at a local parade and it looked neat:

I love to carry my babies in pouches when they are tiny, and then we graduate to a buckle-tai. I've woned just about every 'type' of carrier, but wraps, ring slings, regular mai-tais, etc, were not for us. Anything that takes longer than 15 seconds to put on with a newborn always seems like wayyyyyy too long.

I hate pouches lol - But I love my wraps. So snuggly. I have quite a few. I have a lovely light hemp and cotton one that will be perfect for an April baby cause its very breathable and not too 'hot' a wrap. I also love my Didy indios - I need more! lol They are also pretty 'cool' wraps for spring/summer babies!
When they get to toddler age - I love my mei tais though! Beansling MT so far is my ab fab!

I second homemade wraps. They are cheap and so versatile. At around 5 months we went to the ergo though. It's comfy and easy to put on my back.
