I am sorry but this is just not true. As soon as you begin getting biophysical profiles you are on the backups radar. I have had issues with them with twin mamas and with "big baby "freakouts and coercive pushing for elective cesareans. I dislike them intensely because of what has happened with my bc clients who have gotten in their sights. If I want a vbac I am going with a homebirth midwife or with Maryland General Hospital and their 22 percent lowest in the Maryland cesarean rate!

Overall, I had an awful experience with the group, from the office staff to the mw who ripped my vbac away even though I could feel her head. I don't. Recommend the practice to anyone, especially after being told that I would need to seek care elsewhere because of my csections. After being told by a mw there that they would still see me but couldn't 'allow' me to have a vaginal birth because of two sections.
I try not to share my story (and I know 3 others who've been unhappy with sb, so its not just me) because I don't like to share negativity (I got too much of that when pregnant) but I urge anyone wanting a vbac to explore all of their options. Sb has a higher vbac to section rate than they put out there and its not all because of annapolis obgyn (based on my firsthand experience).
Good luck to the op. Remember you do have choice. Hb midwives will work with you. Don't settle for care you aren't happy with. Ik did personally and in being completely honest, I regret it.

If you were able to get the same insurance to cover 100%, I so NEED your guidance right now. A back up plan is what my husband and I need if we are feeling pressure out of a VBAC. I'd really appreciate it if you can PM me any info, or if you CPM are taking last minute clients. I am already 2-3 cm dilated and 80% effaced, 38 weeks tomorrow.
