Anyone with many dogs?

I have five dogs, twice now I have found a "present" inside the house, which is in and of itself odd for my pack, as they are all very well house trained. The particular pile of yuck that I find is encased in a thick layer of mucus, and also appears to have streaks of blood in it. I know that this can indicate a few different problems and would love to take the depositer to the vet, but I dont know who it is! Does anyone else on here have several dogs and have a hint as to figuring out who is doing this? I can only rule out one of my five, the tiny weiner dog, as the piles are much too . . . much, haha, for him to be leaving. So I know that its one of the other four, all of which are larger dogs ranging in size from 35lbs up to 80lbs. Any helpful hints or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

Oh! I forgot to add, our water has recently been put under a boiling notice because of possible e coli, although we arent drinking the water, the dogs still are, could this have anything to do with it?

Follow them when they go outside and watch each one poop...then check and you can see which one its comng from.

Yep to the above...

also check their butts... i know gross, but if they have the runs or they way you described it it may still be on there fir around there butt area...

i would change their drinking water ASAP or boil it and store it for easy bowl filling. if e coli can live in the water god only know what else can! i would go buy a 5 gallon jug and the hardware store and just boil and fill boil and fill until it is full...

I would also watch them when they go outside after the incident - the "culprit" will likely not poop then since they already did. Or they may have runny poop since it hasn't been in the colon very long so the water hasn't been extracted out.
