Washing Question needed quickly!

Thread Starter
I'm going out of town this weekend in about an hour and I had planned on washing diapers right before I left and having lots of fresh diapers to come home to (we'll be using up a pack of sposies we have while on our trip). I just realized I waited too long and they won't be done washing before I leave. So my choice is either to wash them and let them sit in the washing machine for 48 hours before I get home OR let them sit in the pail for another 48 hours before they get washed. It's probably 3 days worth of diapers so some diapers on the bottom will have been sitting there for 5 days by the time I wash them.

What do I do?

I'd wash and pull out of the washer before you go (if you can.)

NM - I just read they won't be done washing before you get home.

I'd spread out your dirty dipes so that they have a chance to air dry and just come home to dirty dipes. I wouldn't want to risk the chance of mildew in the washer.

I'm going to second this. Don't leave them in the washer or pail if you can avoid it. The washer would be a better choice if they're the only options.

I agree with the previous poster...unless there is a friend or neighbor that can pop them in the dryer for you, hang them, etc.
