BFP!!!!!

They called at 10am but I was on the way to my (distraction) playdate for dd. My number is 211. Apparently they accidentally sent me a day early (16 instead of 17 days past ER), but she said it's still a good number. I had an IVF cycle last year and they told me it was a BFP, but my beta was only 91 (which they didn't mention) and of course it ended up being a chemical pregnancy only. So I am pretty pleased with 211. : To say the least!

Now I wait for my second b/w next week, then they schedule an u/s to see the h/b in late August. Still in shock.

It always helps me keep the faith when one of us (or two of us!) gets that BFP! A happy and healthy nine months to you both!

As for me, I'm sad and frustrated. AF arrived yesterday and so we are onto cycle 17. I am getting my blood work tomorrow morning and my HSG is scheduled for next week. DH went to another urologist last week and this new specialist doesn't think his numbers are bad enough to make it worth repairing the varicocele. My HSG will determine if the fibroids I have are interfering with implantation which seems to be the only mystery left before moving ahead with IUI. Why does it have to be so hard? I was so hopeful that our relaxing trip would be just what we needed to catch that egg but it came to nothing. :

I can't speak for anyone else, but I still having not much going on. They bumped my IVF consultation appt from last Wednesday to today; apparently they ended up with more egg retrievals on that day than they had expected. Moderately aggravating, but probably the correct prioritization. AF started Saturday, which, while somewhat disappointing, was expected. Hopefully I'll have something interesting to say after my appt this afternoon.

Crazyrunningmama, so glad threadkeeper's luck came through for you! Congratulations to you and to Claire too!!: I love seeing graduates on this thread!!

We just got back from meeting with RE to discuss test results. The lab didn't send the SA and compatibility results though so we will have to discuss those by phone in the morning. Pending those results the plan is to start FSH injections next cycle and do an IUI. I have my prescriptions and was shown how to use the pen so I am all set. My next cycle won't start until September though so I am another one without much going on this month.

I'm sorry that I haven't been very active lately. I've been out of town, but I do have news today. I got a BFP ::

Actually, I've been getting them for two weeks, ever since I had my trigger. I never was able to test it out : and that was so frustrating, but who cares! Today at 14 dpo it got really dark, so I guess it's real!

Needle in the Hay, sounds like you are glad to have a plan. So annoying that they didn't have all of your lab results, I hate stuff like that, I have a hard time keeping my cool. : Keep us updated, September isn't that far off.

Thank you all for your hugs. I am going in tomorrow for my HSG. I'm a bit apprehensive about the procedure but hopeful that we can get some more answers from it. So, I'm just waiting around hoping to move onto IUI in the near future and trying oh so hard to stay positive.
