my husband's a teacher and they don't have a sink in their classroom. Does anyone have a recipe for a natural hand sanitizer he and the kids could use when they can't go to the sink?

found this article: http://mothering.com/green-living/ar...and-sanitizers see the section on 'essential oils'. perhaps there's a good recipe that can be formulated with their recommendations

from article:
Out of 21 essential oils tested, 19 oils showed antibacterial activity against one or more strains. Cinnamon, clove, geranium, lemon, lime, orange, and rosemary oils showed the most promise, and are one of the reasons for the growing belief of their effectiveness in protecting the human hand against bacteria.

I make a hand sani spray that I use. It has rubbing alcohol in it though. I mix about a third aloe juice, a third witch hazel, and a third rubbing alcohol. Works pretty good for me. The Burt's Bees hand sanitizer spray in the stores is made this way.
