Found this interesting Nutritional Therapist program.

Here is their extensive reading list: http://www.nutritionaltherapy.com/NT...%202009-10.pdf (this lists chapters and pages of study to be covered)

The program is focused on 'ancestral diets and nutrient dense foods'. http://www.nutritionaltherapy.com/index.htm

There is a Distance Learning offering: http://www.nutritionaltherapy.com/NT...ceLearning.htm

Train to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

The NTT program is unique because it’s based on a foundational approach to nutrition. We offer specific tools for assessing the body’s nutritional deficiencies and will teach you how to address those weaknesses through diet, supplements and lifestyle changes. In addition to our foundational approach, the NTT program emphasizes three additional perspectives:

  • First is the allegiance to the teachings of such pioneering greats as Dr. Weston A. Price and Dr. Francis A. Pottenger, two of the greatest scientific minds ever to research nutrition, food and its’ effects on modern society. Their work is the basis for NTA’s core belief in properly prepared, nutrient dense whole foods.
  • Second is NTA’s fundamental belief in bio-individuality; our genetic and geographical makeup can determine our unique nutritional needs.
  • Third, we offer a system of evaluative measurements that help identify nutritional weaknesses in the body. Our Functional Evaluation technique allows the Practitioner to address the nutritional needs of their clients, assess their biochemical individuality and make tailored diet and lifestyle recommendations.

  • Students in the Nutritional Therapist Training Program participate in a rigorous course curriculum that includes anatomy and physiology, basic chemistry concepts, and the science of food and its' nutritional components. They also learn how to identify and address imbalances in the body and how to intervene with nutrition for improving overall health and wellness. This course is available to professionals looking to enhance their practice with nutrition as well as those wanting to embark on a new career as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner™.

Foundational Overview of course: http://www.nutritionaltherapy.com/NT...ew03.28.07.pdf

This looks amazing!!

The course is only 9 months, with teleconferences and 3 intensive workshops at a designated location. (Nevada or Connecticut). And only $3300.

I believe, I'll just order all the required books on Amazon and DIY/unschool myself. (looks like they have large discounts from ordering books through their site: http://www.nutritionaltherapy.com/BooksandProducts.htm )

What about this one?

It's only about $3500 I believe. I have the paperwork around here somewhere. I'm not doing it this year even though the classes are in the same state as me (drat but the timing won't work) but I've been getting the books and reading them.
