The guidelines state that if the thread is applicable to another forum it will be moved.

If a topic does not relate directly to Gifted issues it should be posted elsewhere. We would like to encourage that infant and toddler issues be posted in those respective forums

If it isn't specifically involving Gifted issues then it does need to be in the other forum. Simply because a topic involves a child that is gifted doesn't really mean that all threads about that child should be in that forum.
Some threads that are placed there are better suited to another forum.
