When did/have your symptoms start/ed?

I cannot help but be so nervous because I'm not having any pregnancy symptoms. I am due around the first of April and that puts me at about 5 1/2 weeks so I know it is early, but I want to FEEL pregnant.

I do have some intestinal distress but I rather think that has to do with a mild bug or something because from what I've read only constipation is pregnancy related and that's not till much later in pregnancy.

Is everyone having symptoms?

My first pregnancy ended in mc at 10.5 weeks with ZERO symptoms (blighted ovum). My second pregnancy ended in a gorgeous little boy and I was sick daily until I gave birth and I had started to have nausea right around now.

I'm due the first and just started having nausea on Thursday. I'm still not feeling the exhaustion that I did with DD, which I'm kinda relieved about. The nausea did show up about a week later this time than last, but I promised myself that I wouldn't be concerned about a lack of symptoms until 6 weeks. At that point, if I hadn't had anything, I was going to try to get under an OB's care for betas or a possible ultrasound.

If you're concerned and because you have a history, I'm sure an OB would be willing to get you some testing. Once you're reassured, you can go back to whatever model of care you are looking for.

ugh, morning sickness just started here too, like 1-2 days ago, and i'm just 6 wks today. i've been waking up to pee once a night for about two weeks, and have been more tired than usual most days, slightly sore boobs. but really, i didn't feel PREGNANT until just thurs or fri. yes, it's reassuring, but i'm inclined to say to try to enjoy not feeling the morning sickness for as long as you can but i know that's not easy when you are worried about a miscarriage i think it wasn't until 6 wks last time that i started to feel crappy.

hope you get some kind of reassurance soon! *HUGS*

I'm around 5 weeks now and also not really having any symptoms. When I was pregnant w/ DS I don't think the nausea & exhaustion had quite started by this point, but I definitely had sore boobs, and I don't this time, which makes me nervous. I do keep hearing that a lot of people really don't get symptoms until after 6 weeks so I try to reassure myself. I second the recommendation, though, to see if you can get an early appointment if you think it will be reassuring to you. I am going in this Thursday, when I think I'll be just barely 6 weeks or so. Keeping my fingers crossed that all will be well and I can relax a little bit after that.

I don't feel pregnant. I have some mild nausea that comes and goes, and some mild fatigue, but nothing I couldn't just chalk up to summer heat and allergies, yanno?

Don't believe that only constipation is pregnancy related, that's bull. Everyone's body reacts to pregnancy differently. Pg hormones usually affect the GI tract, causing nausea, but it can also cause diarrhea. The night before I got my BFP I had horrible liquid diarrhea. I took an immodium, thinking it was a reaction to some fatty food I'd eaten (and it might have been). I was convinced I wasn't pregnant.

My first pregnancy I had nausea almost immediately after conception. That ended in m/c at 5 weeks. I believe that baby was a boy. My second pregnancy I also had nausea almost immediately, and I carried to 43w. That baby was also a boy.

This pregnancy I think is a girl, and I'm not really very nauseated. I bought stuff in anticipation, but so far I haven't really needed it. Someone pointed out, when I mentioned that my pre-natal vitamin turns my pee neon, that there was a lot of B vitamin in it, so perhaps that's why I'm not as nauseated, who knows? But every body and every pregnancy is different.

I will say, however, that I bought a lot of 25 poas tests in anticipation of trying, and I pee on one at least once a week, just to see that second line. I did another one this morning. I agree that if you're truly worried, and since you have a history, you might want to go in and get your levels drawn.

pregnancy brain hits me almost immediately! and it sucks!

I agree with the pregnancy brain! I'm 5w2d, and not feeling much. Some intestional distress, a bit of bloating, mild heartburn, and I'm a bit more tired I guess. I think in the past morning sickness hit me about 6 weeks. But like others have said, every pregnancy is different. I was sick as a dog with my first, and not so much with the other two (all are boys). I also had an early MC (about 6 weeks) before the birth of my first, so I understand the worry. I'm seeing my OB about 9 weeks, but in some ways wish it earlier but am trying to not worry and be patient (easier said than done of course).

I'm just having on and off cramping feelings. Also feeling sorta bloated, but it might just be I ate like a pig on vacation.

I'd like to avoid the m/s, but I'd take some sore boobs just to make me feel pregnant.

I'm 6w2d, and I totally get your anxiety. I lost a pregnancy in November - blighted ovum at 10.5 weeks, just like you. I've had sore boobs pretty much from the start, I've been feeling pretty tired for the last few days, and the constipation has begun. (Which, by the way, is pretty common in the first trimester.)

I still don't have any m/s. Some days I think I feel sick, but it's not really nausea. I wish it was. So far my symptoms this time are exactly the same as last time. I just hope they don't ease up and then disappear like they did last time.

I know it's hard, but try not to worry. I keep thinking about how statistically unlikely it is for the same thing to happen twice in a row. (Please, no one correct my statistics!)

Some women don't even know they're pregnant until they're almost out of the first trimester. So, not feeling pregnant...not necessarily a problem.

Thanks for all the replies. I was going to call to go in early but decided I need to trust my body and nature to take its course. I still have mini-freak outs but am just trying to be greatful for feeling good for right now. I do still get daily headaches and I have a voracious appetite so that's something.

Honest to goodness, I started having symptoms this time around starting at 2 or 3 dpo. I kept waking up in the morning v tired, & one day my c/s scar on my uterus was burning slightly (v rare). Then my boobs started hurting and my temp was up slightly at 7 dpo, & I just knew. Felt some pinging in the ol' ute yesterday evening & got an extremely faint bfp (dh saw it, too, so Im not crazy, lol!). Now, today at 9 dpo, I feel like I am 9487 weeks pg, tender in the ute, tired, hungry but not.. With dd, I had no symptoms other than sore boobs and uterine pinging/weirdness for symptoms until 6 weeks. Then I got horrible m/s. I am slightly panicky over the thought of repeating the m/s I am trying to enjoy this calm time, but Im definitely scared

I am 4w3d, so rediculously early. So far, sore boobs, waking to pee. Had two nights of horrible sleep, feel uterus twinges. I am tired, but that could be just from the lack of sleep!

We have had a GI bug in the house, so not sure if I have the runs due to that, or pregnancy. I remember last time around just wishing that the diarrhea would end, because I had it most of the pregnancy.

I still feel that this is a bit surreal, we conceived so quickly. I keep looking for reassurance that I am not making this up. 'Course, I haven't gotten any spotting or bleeding, so that is confirmation right there!

I totally get that. We were planning to start trying NEXT month. But then I misread my chart and thought we were safe.

I literally got pregnant the very first time in my life that I had unprotected sex.

Symptoms showed up at 3w1d: nausea most of the day and diarrhea, bloating, and my sinuses clogged up. Started actually throwing up the next day, threw up three times the day after, and got a HPT+ at 10dpo. Got IV fluid hydration for hyperemesis at the hospital just a day short of 5 weeks.

Apparently I'm really sensitive to the pregnancy hormones. DD's pregnany was similar, although the m/s wasn't as intense as quickly.

I'm barely 4wks and having just a few symptoms. A bit of fatigue, intestinal distress, slight nausea when hungry, increased hunger and peeing a bit more frequently.

Waiting for the insomnia, more nausea and sore boobs to come.
I've got stuffed up sinuses too! I didn't realize that was common. I woke having to pee like mad the last two mornings. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow.

Mine started at 2DPO and have been bugging me ever since!

But I'm happy I can experience this even though I want to stick my head in a bucket and fall asleep.

I am just starting feel slightly preggers and I'm 5 wks. I'm pretty tired, peeing a lot, bloated by the end of the day, stuffed up and feeling kinda nauseas if I don't eat. My nipples are a little sore and I'm gassy at the end of the day.

I'm not even 4 weeks yet and everything smells bad and I really need to sleep. So, things started pretty early this time around.

4w, 3days too, unicorn

loved reading all these posts, ladies! it's comforting to see all the variations of normal adding mine in case they are useful for anyone else.

looking back, i think my taste was off as early as 8dpo. my husband had wine on two different nights. he said both times it was wonderful, but they just tasted like vinegar to me when i sipped them. i thought AF was coming (spotting) at 12dpo, so poured a big ol' cup of coffee - blech.

i was freaking yesterday b/c of cramping with spotting (had an early m/c in may), but ladies here and in my TTC thread reassured me that neither are a sign of anything bad. breakthrough bleeding, continued implantation spotting, uterus adjusting... all good.

my cramps feel like my uterus is being squeezed by a big hand. a couple women told me this is the muscles pushing out laterally, expanding. cool!

i'm sooooooooo sleepy.

bloated too - my pants aren't fitting right around the middle. anybody know whether people who are overweight have more problems with bloating? i never noticed bloating w/ af until i gained weight.

my nipples are like nerve endings, and... bigger! already?!

oh, and i think i may be getting prego brain - i've made some gaffes today that aren't characteristic of me.
