DrJen - Great Race Report! Wow, I was feeling all nervous and queasy reading about your trip to the start!
: for your friend and your friend's mil. I'll just keep em coming.
I woke up to a pukefest by Alison this morning so today has been all about cleaning and laundry and getting the clorox out (which is a rare event in this house so you know I'm freaked about a possible spread!). I think I could really use a run but I'm in one of those funks like I think I can't really take the time. But later I am going to take Chiara swimming and that will help I'm sure.
I hope whatever Alison has is short lived, she's in a pretty good mood but she hasn't been able to keep anything in but breastmilk and
: that I didn't just jinx that! She's also got super mucusy poo so I'm thinking she probably ate something out of the litter box or similar
. How dangerous would that be? Our phone has been dead since I got back from SF and now I'm wishing I'd been a little more proactive on getting it fixed, although I guess driving in to make an appointment with the dr wouldn't be the end of the world.
Mommajb - I don't know anything about pace groups really but I did run for a few minutes with the pacer for the 5:30 group and she never stopped talking about herself and her achy hips and how many marathons she'd done and how great she was. She didn't have a huge group running with her, wonder why?
Anyway, I'd also think about the personality of the pacer too, especially if they're a chatty type!
Nick - I hope you're feeling settled in quickly, there's no place like home.
: coming your way for a sprain and not a break!
to you for 3 hours of riding in the rain!! Seriously. Hard. Core.
