Ahh He finally made it! 8lbs 1oz 21.5 inches long.

He was born on dada's b-day july31st at 3:09 pm. He is nursing like a pro and doing great.

So now I wont have to be induced on monday lol.

ETA a breif birth story :P

I was feeling great thursday and We just layed down for bed about midnight. After 5 mins of laying down I started getting backaches and contractions. I

I got up and waited until 1:30 am were they had gotten stronger and I just knew it had to be this time lol.

By the time we got to the hospital They were more painful but not unbearable.

The Nurse checked me and I was still at a 5!! So Dh and I walked around for a while and he tried to catch up on sleep.

My Ob called in to say admit me and if My water wouldnt break on its own when she came in that morning then she would,

Once I got into my delivery room at 7:00am They had picked up and were getting closer and stronger. I was still able to get a little rest. By 9:00am my water had still not broke and I was only at a 5-6cm. Dr broke my water and I was having more painful contractions but they were not strong enough to keep me dialating. I then decided on my epi about 12:00 and they started me on a little pitocin to help me dialate fully. At 2:00 I was at a +2 and ready to have this baby but I had to wait on my doctor who was in a delivery. By the time she got their it was 2:50 and I started to push. I only pushed through three contractions and he was here at 3:09! They layed him on my chest and he was already rooting around for the breast. He has been such a great eater and is co sleeping very well.

At first I was going to use the bassinet for the first little bit until we got ourselves a routine but dada snuck him in last night and he slept so good and never fussed once. He only woke twice to nurse lst night and it getting plenty of milk.

Big brother is helping out tons and Is very proud and protective of "his baby"

While I still had to have Pitocin It was not very much and I was still happy to have done most of it on my own.
