Anybody suspect they're carrying more than one?

So I just saw that we have 32 introductions in the sticky... and the number I've seen is that 1 in 32 births are multiples.

So who thinks it might be them?

I certainly hope it's not me!

I'll let you know if it's me on Friday after my ultrasound

DH would freak! But my mom is a twin (and has another set in her sibling family as well), and I hear as you get older there is more of a chance, so maybe. Feeling like my belly is big already, but thinking its just bloating.

I actually have a decent chance at it, though I'm not sure how I feel about that. I have a strong family history of fraternal twins, and Ella was a fraternal twin, but her twin reabsorbed before 10w. Also, my test at 12DPO was immediate and dark, which was how it happened with Ella's test (but not Alice's). Ella also has been telling everyone that she is getting TWO babies this time, and I am so exhausted this time around. So... we'll see. My midwife has experience with homebirthing twins, so I am not too bothered there, but imaging life with two newborns, a 2.5 year old and 4.5 year old makes me dizzy.

seriously don't even joke!!!! this post gave me the shivers! hahaha. but i'll be excited for someone else

I'm kind of hoping for it actually haha. I'm feeling wierd cramping sometimes on my left sometimes on my right, and I don't remember having ANY cramping with my 2 year old. I was told by my father in law's friend who has a "gift" that the next time I get pregnant, I'd have twins. And it seems everyone is having twins lately, so we'll see :0).

I always have it in the back of my mind but only because my mother is a fraternal twin, as was her mother... who went on to have three sets of fraternals. I don't know how much farther back it goes.
This is my fifth pregnancy though (2 live, 2 MCs and this one) and it hasn't happened yet. My mother and my aunt didn't have twins either, and the other two sets my grandmother had died. It's just an irrational fear LOL

Last time, I desperately wished for twins. This time, after having taken care of 2 babies at once (due to foster care), I say NO THANK YOU to twins! However, this time the computer and I argued over my O date, I started having pg symptoms right away, and I got my bfp 8dpo, so I am suspicious! Twins do not run in my family, so Ive got that going for me!

no twins here!

My husband and mom thinks so! I started having morning sickness and severe back pain at 5dpo.

My DD has been walking around for at least 6 months telling everybody that she is getting 2 baby sisters when she is 4 years old. Well, she will be 4 this Aug!

We will see at the first PN visit on 8/26.

Looking at the Intro thread count, it's now statistically likely that TWO of us are carrying multiples....

I hope its not me lol - but because I hope its not me, you always wonder don't you!
Saying that - I will be happy whatever! It will sure be hard though and I will need a lot of support (which I think is also going to be hard to find - which is why I hope its not me)...but I will be surely blessed if it is! After all we have been through, its bound to be right?! lmao

I would be happy with twins. I think my test lines were pretty dark for being 10dpo lol... :

I'll admit that I'm crazy. I'm hoping for twins. Makes me wish I was having a u/s in a couple weeks. Oh well, as long as I don't know I'm *not* having twins I can still hope.

4w, 6days

we've joked about this, and we're in a really good position to handle it. since i'm 35 already, sometimes i think, well, that would do it! then i feel sick, haha

jeannabna, congratulations ! i saw your announcement over in TTC, glad to get another positive for august!

jenfl..... do you think you might be carrying twins? you sure are getting, um, bold symptoms! btw, i'm so glad you're able to manage it, and hope soon it lessens on it's own.

Oh, I am terrified of having multiples. I would have welcomed it with any of my other pregnancies, but please, not this one!!

I must admit, I hope I'm not in that statistic for twins. This is my first child, and hopefully only child. We only want one. Even if we were to change our minds later down the road, we would adopt. So ... just one biological child for us please!

I think it's too early for me to suspect anything.
