Anyone else surprised by all the babies already?

I cannot believe we have at least 17 babies who didn't want to wait until their due date month! Wow!

I hope mine follows the trend and comes early...

I know, seriously! I didn't even realize it was 17, I lost count somewhere around 10. That's crazy!

I'll be happy with whenever mine wants to make her debut, but I'm hoping she bakes a little longer. 38 and 5 right now.

I'm very surprised... but I am hoping ours is late. I have a bet going with DH right now that he will come on the 14th (DH is guessing the 9th).

I'm pretty amazed. With any luck my little one will squirm out of there early too, but we're not due till the 28th, so she could end up being a September baby!

I guess baby will come when he/she is ready, tomorrow is my due date but I feel really surprised there are so many born already who were due way later than I am! Even my neighbour who was due the 20th gave birth yesterday.

I am surprised at how many babies arrived by August. My due date was the 17th, with a scheduled c-section for the 10th!

I must confess that I'm glad Griffin came early - but still full term. I was tired of being exhausted, tired of the heartburn, and tired of of the vericose veins! I'm still keeping an eye on all of you, though, as I don't want you to be forgotten as we all graduate from being pregnant to not-pregnant!

I am surprised, too. But also seriously envious. Seriously. I am so impatient I don't know wtf to do with myself. My 5 yo started kindergarten (year-round calendar) and this is his 3rd week. I should be enjoying my long days (until 3pm!!) to myself... instead today I'm all wiggy and irritated about and having trouble being patient. Argh.

Surprised, jealous, encouraged, disillusioned... it depends on what minute you ask me...

I am surprised too!

I'm shocked at how many came before it was even August! I think we just have a lot of moms who were due in the beginning of August and also lots of high risk moms who went early. But yeah, it makes it a bit harder for us due at the end of the month to wait!

My oldest is starting K in a few weeks - Exciting times! Did you get the track you wanted? From what I've heard, which ever track you get, you end up loving it! We're on traditional calendar.

I've been surprised, too! Not jealous, necessarily. I guessed quite late (August 29th for a August 17th due date), but I would not at all mind being wrong. That said, I don't much care to have the baby *early,* either. Sometime between 39 and 41 weeks would be my choice, if I had one.

I think I have been more excited than surprised. There are quite a few of us in this group, and I don't mind waiting until the end. Hopefully, we just won't have as many that go late as we did that went early.
I bet there are a few in the July group that were maybe a little jealous of all our early babies.

wow...17 already?? I'm not due until the very end of the month, and honestly kinda hoping for a September baby - just 'cause I don't feel ready yet!!

22 at last count There are 23 on the sticky but 1 of those is an 8/2 baby.

As the earliest as far as I can tell other than the real preemies, I can say nobody was more surprised than me! 38 or 39 weeks wouldn't have surprised me - but I really thought I'd at least make it to August!

I am due the 11th and most of the time I am still ok, but sometimes opening this DDC and seeing all the announcements makes me antsy!!! I am 39 weeks tomorrow, so I am ready but my major guess date is the 13th, at this point I don't know if I care if I make it to the 13th or get lucky and have a full moon baby.

I know I won't be pregnant forever but some days I sure feel like I will And what's terrible is I am thinking this before I am even due

Yeah, but mostly just jealous... I *SO* want this lil guy to pop on out. Really, anytime now would be WONDERFUL! I'm 38 +6 today, and am just sick and tired of false labor!!

You and I have the same due date! I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow as well. I told DH that Thursday's a full moon and he poo-poo'd the idea of me going into labor then. I think he's in denial and thinks I'll be pregnant forever. Personally, I think I'm also going to go past our due date but I'm ready for it to happen any time!

All of the early babies were a surprise to me, too! I figured we'd have more that would bake longer.

I've never been in a DDC that had this many early babies.
