Has anyone read Paullina Simons's books? I just started The Bronze Horseman this weekend, and I can't put it down! I am so bleary-eyed from staying up past midnight every night.
It's about Tatiana and Alexander, two young people who fall in love the summer before the Siege of Leningrad in 1941. It's the first of three books, which I assume follow them all the way through the war.
Two people told me if I liked the Outlander books, I'd love Simons's books, and they're right. Plus, my DH is from Kiev, so I love reading about the history of his country. (His family is very reluctant to talk about their lives in the Soviet Union, so I have to glean all the information I can from books.)
