Lavender

Where would I buy dried lavender? I just need the buds, but stalks are fine.

When I lived in Santa Monica I could grow it by the armful or just pick some up from "The Lavender Man" at the farmer's market. Here those are not an option.

I used to buy it at a health food store in the bulk section for cheap and I know you can order it online as well.

MountainRoseHerbs.com is a great source.

Around here the natural/health store carries it along with some other things in bulk bins. I was surprised because I thought I'd have to order it online or drive further to get it (it's a small city). It was quite inexpensive as well.

Where in PA are you? I'm outside of Philly and both me and my mom (in Philly) grow TONS of lavender all year round. I know a lot of people in PA who do. It does well indoors and outside. If you're in the southeastern part of PA you can check out Peace Valley Lavender Farm. You can get it in bulk there. If you don't live in that area you can order from their site: http://www.peacevalleylavender.com/
