How many times a day does he/she nurse?

Mine has only done 6 the past two days ... is that common?

Mine will sleep anywhere from 5-7 hours at night. He is still nursing about 8-10 times a day, although I nurse him to sleep for naps. So sometimes he is nursing before he's really "hungry," and this is adding to the number of times.

Hmm ... mine has never been one to comfort nurse or to nurse to sleep, although I do feed her when I can tell she's getting ready to go down for the night whether or not she seems hungry then.

My second DS was STTN by 6 weeks old....MY daughter woke her whole first year...

I don't know how many times he eats but I do offer every 2-3 hours all day bc of his sleeping 10-12 hours at night I worry about my supply. He rarely refuses to nurse. I would offer even if LO doesn't seem hungry

Mine sometimes sleeps all night but as a rule is nursing more times than I can count during the day.

A few months back he had cut back for awhile and was probably only nursing 6-8 times a day.
