My DS will be one year old on Wednesday. He has been eating solids (purees) like a champ since he was 5 months old. I was making great little puree foods for him & he seemed to love everything.
Now, at 1 year old, he doesn't want those same things. He wants bread (whole wheat), chicken nuggets (home made) and sweet potatoes. That's his main menu for now. Everything else he spits out.
I've tried BLW and he doesn't like the texture. UGH - it is so frustrating and I feel like I'm "forcing" him, which I'm not, but I just can't believe that a month ago, he loved cheese and now loves toast, but won't eat a grilled cheese sandwich. A month ago he loved these broccoli cheese nuggets I made, but now hates them.
I know I need to keep introducing new foods but it is so frustrating when he just spits it out...especially when he ate it a month ago. Then I have to turn around and make him another meal that I know he likes.
What am I doing wrong? Do I just let him go hungry or do I make him something I know he'll eat (for now).
