threading a ring sling.

Is there any way to thread a ring sling so the tail shows the 'good' side of the fabric? I didn't realize when I bought the sling that wrong side of the fabric would show so much.

erased... still thinking, sorry

I was originally thinking mine were right side out but I realized they are Mayas, which look the same on both sides.

As you are threading it, you should be able to give a half-twist to the fabric before you thread it through the second half of the rings.

BUT! This will make it *much* harder to adjust while you are wearing it (almost impossible, I bet.)
I think that if you don't like the plain side of the fabric my preferred suggestion would be to find a colour of dupioni silk that co-ordinates or constrasts pleasingly with your sling, and tack a section down on the tail, so that you have a silk-lined tail. That preserves the adjustability of the sling, and dresses you in silk. Always good.

This is a great idea. The tail on this sling is so long that I could just fold it up and tack it down by hand. Thank you! (I think you helped me out with my other question as well!)
