Well its definitely been a hard adjustment! Asia is 3 weeks old on wednesday and has gained one pound since she was born so she's 7 lb 12 oz now. She's perfectly healthy, nursing was VERY hard to establish but now things are going great.. she's still very nocturnal and likes to stay up ALL night! I never really thought it was going to be this hard, even though everyone told me it would be. But it's totally worth it and I am so in love with her!

Here's some new pictures for your viewing pleasure

Congratulations to all the mama's who have had their babies already, and good luck to all of those who are still waiting, I wish you the best. I still can't believe how many babies were born in July!

She's beautiful! Do you let her nap in daylight (my kids slept beside a window) without closing curtains? That always helps shifting into day/night pattern. But it's a slow adjustment, I know.

She's a beauty! I hope she gets things figured out soon, for your own sanity!

She's lovely!

I seem to recall that things got a lot easier after 6 weeks - there is something magical that happens around then and things just normalize a bit. Those first 6 weeks are rough though, I empathize with you, mama!

Thanks everyone and thanks for the advice! She actually slept through the night last night somehow.. it was amazing.

And now I'm finally getting to the point where I can multi-task with her instead of feeling like all I can do is hold her and look at her which is ALL i've done for the past 3 weeks! Today I actually got some cleaning done, and was able to do my hair for the first time..
