need 3 handmade gift ideas......please!

What are your skills? What can you do? What are they into? Are you looking for a make-it-yourself type gift or just an assemble-it-yourself type of gift?

Like for the married couple, you could assemble a gift basket, or your could paint a bird feeder. Or you could knit/crochet a towel set or emborder their monograms. It just depends on what level of commitment and handmade you want.

i would prefer make something. not a kit per-say. i can basic sew and as for everything else, i'm up for the challenge. no knitting or crocheting. um......i'm looking for useful/functional gifts. not just pretty.

3 yo boy- they are toughies. assemble an art kit with crayons, markers, paper, color books, and sew a little bag for them all? koolaid dyed playsilks.

2 yo girl- a little quilt for her baby doll, doll clothes, a little cape for play or when the weather gets cooler, koolaid dyed playsilks.

wedding gift- quilted table runner, flannel napkins, hem a table cloth, a throw quilt.

How about these stick horses for the kids? This was posted by wonderful mama here last Christmas, and I made several for the little ones in my family. They are fun, easy, and cheap to make and the kids loved them so much!

For the couple, how about one of these no sew blankets to cuddle up together with on the couch?

i made a memory card game for the 3yo; like this.............

for the 2yo i'm going to make a pillowcase dress

and maybe for the couple a throw/picnic/beach blanket like this............
