Pockets only -- need advice please

Thread Starter
I have a huge stash of Medium Fuzzi Bunz from my older daughter, that are stretched out some, but not enough to warrant redoing the elastic. My youngest is not big enough yet to fit into them, but is too big for the Smalls (which I sold as soon as she outgrew them). I need to find something she can wear for the interim, and have $200 max to spend.

I have TONS of inserts. I don't need any diapers with inserts. I need just the pockets, comparable to a size Medium FB. I don't want to spend $18 each for pockets when that's what pockets+inserts cost. I need as many pockets that will work, for the money, if that makes sense.

Does anyone know of a comparable pocket only that would be cheaper than what I'd pay for the pocket/insert combo? I far prefer snaps if possible, but am not opposed to aplix if it will work and not hurt her by rubbing against her skin. Thanks!

Maybe some one-size diapers would help you bridge the gap? Seconds would be a good choice as they often cost less but don't come with inserts. Or how about a lower priced dipe like Smartipants or ClothDiaperWholesale?

have you tried hugga buns? they do come with a tri folded bamboo, but you can never have too many of those! they are just $12.95!

I'd probably check out diaper swappers-- you could get a lot of good pockets for $200. I think a OS dipe like BG or Haute Pocket would work really well for this stage.

Btw, howdy! We were in the Feb. DDC together!

I just sold a lot of maybe 14 OS pockets on DS that were is good condition but stained. I would look for something like that used, instead of buying new, since you are just trying to bridge the gap.

Also, you might be able to get a few PUL covers and use your pocket inserts in a cover, like a trifolded prefold.

I would either do some AIO diapers - they're typically cheaper - or find some used pockets without inserts. You can probably find some on Diaper Swappers.

You could check out Swaddlebees outlet. They have OS pocket diapers similar to Blueberries in there for $13.
They do come with a mf/hemp combo insert, but its a good deal.
