Green Breastmilk?!

Thread Starter
Hi, my dd is 5 months old and I've had problems with breastmilk supply since she was born. I have worked really really hard to increase my supply and it has been going well.

However, the past two nights that I've pumped, the next morning the breastmilk has had a greenish tint to is, and today, the milk that is two days old is noticeably greener than what I pumped last night.

Is there something wrong with my milk? DD is still nursing fine and supply seems like normal.

I have started using a new prenatal in the past week and 1/2, which is "Rainbow Light Just Once Prenatal One Vegan Guard Multivitamin." From the label, I don't see that there is any seaweed or Kelp in it, although the pills themselves are of a mustard green shade.

i just don't know if there is a problem with my milk now and if it is safe to give dd.

Please help!

it's common for bm shades to be different... mine has had a really orange tint to it and currently it;s blue

It's safe, just probably colored from your diet/vitamins. There are many different normal color variations to breastmilk- but they're all good for baby! :
