The Chickens are Coming Home to Roost as Nurses Balk at Mandatory Vaccination for Themselves

The New York State Nurses Association is very unhappy with recent legislative moves to make the flu vaccine mandatory for all nurses in the state. There is no emergency and the flu shot is not effective they argue. I wonder if the Association tells their nurses to inform families of these little details? Did the Association not think that all the pushing of vaccines would come back to haunt them some day? It will be interesting to see the wriggling without glaring hypocrisy.

I believe this has occurred in other states as well in regards to nurses and flu shots.

It's well known that health professionals have extremely low "compliance" levels for regular flu shots, isn't it? I don't blame them for fighting against this but it would be nice if they'd examine their own reasoning and apply it to vaccine-free parents. :

I didn't realize other states had legislated mandatory vaccines for nurses. I have posted a few articles here in regards to nurses and doctors refusing shots, including the flu and smallpox. I don't wish that anyone be forced to vaccinate to keep their jobs, but this situation will help wake up those involved to what they have created. Nothing happens in a vacuum. I do think having to deal with this will make many nurses involved more aware and maybe more compassionate toward those who choose not to inject their healthy babies with toxins that can maim and kill.

I have to balk at the misconception that ALL nurses push vaccines! There are a lot of us who don't vax or selectively vax and tell others about it also. I encourage all my friends to do research and decide for themselves what is right. Painting the ENTIRE medical profession with one brush irks me just like thinking I am a radical republican just because I am a Christian!

I can't believe they would balk at something this important especially as they advocate it themselves.

That's the kind of generalization I am talking about in the above post.
