WWYD? water park

Thread Starter
My BIL and SIL are in town and might go to a water park. It's an hour away from our house. DH and I would take our own car in case we wanted to leave early. I obviously wouldn't be riding any water slides but they have a lazy river and wave pool that sound really nice right about now. I'll be 37 weeks and 3 days on Saturday. At my 36w appt I was 2cm and 60% effaced, not that it really means anything...

WWYD? Would you go?

eta: I have a mw appt on Thursday and will ask her opinion too if I still feel like going My energy level changes with the wind these days

I'd definitely go!! I'm jealous, I wanna float in a lazy river...

I'd go for sure, as long as you feel like it. A "lazy river" sounds really fantastic right now.

In fact, can I come?

Absolutely!

Yeah, I'd go. Water parks are a blast, even if you can't do the slides & such!!

I have been to our water park recently.....Make sure you drink LOTS of water! That has been my only problem. As long as I wear a hat and stay in the water and cool, I am fine I just have to be sure not to get dehydrated...

I would totally go to a waterpark right now if I didn't have 2 kiddos to look after, lol.

Have fun Mama!

Please go.

I would go for sure! we pretty much live at the swimming pool these days. I don't think the hour drive is a big deal.

I would go. I'm driving all over the place right now and just enjoying myself. I'm jealous. I want to go to a water park.

Wow, I'm SO jealous!!!

Go...but be sure to drink a lot of water (it's hard to remember that when you're in water all the time), know where the bathrooms are at all times, and don't forget your sunscreen!!!!!!!

If you have a waterbottle with a strap, you can probably get away with "wearing" that while you float in the lazy river!

Pack some healthy snacks so you can munch whenever you want. Rent a locker in the park and visit it on your trips to the bathroom

I have been swimming about every week since it's been warm enough. I'm almost 37 weeks. My birthday is tomorrow and we are going swimming. : It makes your back feel sooo good, since the pressure and weight is all lifted. I CRAVE swimming so much that I watch shows on HGTV and MTVCribs that show amazing pools and I imagine they're mine. Lol.
You should be absolutely fine, as long as you stay off those waterslides (although that could potentially induce labor if you got scared enough, I'm thinking ).
