had to get in a reply before your post gets deleted (and it will, rule-breaker ). there is this silly rule that says "don't blog about blogging." blog about other people's blogs, yes, but about your personal blogging process/experience? like "sorry i haven't posted in so long!" or "i don't know what to write about today" are supposedly completely bad, bad, bad. but whatever, i like your blog so far and loved your first "real" post (today's) because i've been comtemplating the same thing, not the same circumstances but a similar kind of shift in my mom-status and what it means in terms of my identity as a mom. looks good - i will definitely keep reading!

but wait, is it supposed to be 'just breath' or 'just breathe'?

check out the sticky 'critique my work'. posting a link to your blog and asking people to tell you what you think seems like a very normal, non-rule-breaking thing to do, but this thread explains the guidelines for getting feedback. basically you will pm someone to get on a list, and when it's your turn, she will post the link to your blog for people to critique. that way, there are just a couple blogs up for review at any given time. the bonus is, since you'll have to wait a little bit for that to happen, you'll have more posts then for people to get a better feel for your style.

i'm sorry about the url thing. i have something wonky with mine too, and i was also very sad to discover it is one letter too long for an etsy name. so my etsy shop can't be called the same thing as my blog. blah!

I looked at your blog and like it. You're a very good writer and it's a pleasure to read what you have to say.

I think you need to get something up that says who you are in the "about" section. Also some graphics and /or photos would be nice too. Your blog doesn't have to be just text and it's nice to see things as you read a blog.

Just wanted to add: put a link in your profile to your blog. That way, people can find it.
