Hormone changes indicative of labor?

I've never gone into natural labor. I was induced with my first, and the second was a repeat c-section. This time, we're doing it naturally.
I've noticed in the last week or so that all of the sudden, my breasts are agonizingly sore. They aren't full of milk yet, but feel like early-pregnancy soreness. I'm thinking hormones. I wonder if that could be indicative of impending labor???
Also, my skin has suddenly become ultra oily. I didn't experience that with my previous two pregnancies (both girls... a boy this time). And I'm also sprouting crazy amounts of hair! Is this a testosterone thing since it's a boy? Or do these hormone changes point toward going into labor soon???

You would think I would know because I've had 2 babies already but I was wondering the same thing today. I've been getting cold flashes (instead of my usual hot flashes) and lots of diziness lately and really feel like there is some sort of hormonal change going on too. Lets hope that the answer is yes!

Lol! My feet have been FREEZING lately! And I had to turn our a/c up because my teeth were chattering when I got into bed. Ohhhh fingers crossed it means labor is imminent!

I'm in a similar boat... my first was a boy... and the hair and oil is a testosterone thing in my experience....

sore nipples... I've been wondering the same thing... also exhaustion and suddenly having cold spells at night where i have usually been sweating every night. I put socks on a few days ago to sleep under all my covers.... very weird.:

My chiro can atleast confirm a surge in relaxin based on how adjusty I am.... due in six days or so.

I told DH the other night with Vbac and having never gone into natural labor I feel like the 40 yr old virgin... I don't know what I'm doing or what to look for which is weird since I have a child... you know?

man I have been a grease ball the past couple of days! I thought it was just me. I'm expecting a boy too. My hair and skin was not oily prior to this point. My underarm and leg hair aren't growing any faster than usual.

As a former charter, I was considering taking my basal temp until I deliver. Some say that you'll notice a drop in temps like you would when your period arrives before you birth. However... I have to get up to pee so often I doubt I'd get any useful info

I have been having the same issues! Only, I am not due until the 29th. So, for me anyway, it does not mean impending labor since I still have 4 weeks....I have been having cold spells, and sore boobs/nipples.....

I was not that wet the whole pregnancy, but about a week before I went into labor, I was getting wet and soft.

Good to know I'm not the only oily, cold one! Lol. I'm not due til the end of August either, but it's #3 and I think I'll go early. I have contractions SOOOO often! Wish I could reach that cervix!

I've been tempted to do this, too, but only if I can get my sleep on again. For me, bathroom breaks didn't use to affect my temps too much, but not sleeping did. Interesting how everyone is different!

Well, I'm having a girl and I've noticed in the last week or so that my hair is super oily too. I'm 37.5 weeks. For what it's worth, I had a boy last time around and didn't have greasy hair....

I'm overdue by 4 days with my son, and I'm super-weepy- I cried when DH vetoed my restaurant suggestion on Sunday, and for like 2 hours last night just from sheer frustration. I'm hoping that it's hormones getting my body ready for labor, because I'm so ready to have this baby!
I also have had a few dizzy spells, but no coldness, oiliness, or excess hairiness.
