I have pushed w/ at least two of mine where I was not fully dilated. I just pushed through it b/c I had strong desire to push. W/ the others I was not checked by midwife or I did not check myself, UC.

That medical link was great for visualizing birth. Thank you mamatoabunch.
I find the need to really visually that opening and what my body is doing as I go through each contraction.

About the lip - I also pushed through it with my first DD because I was already at 10cm.


I am on my third and think my prodromal labor might be the real thing this time - fingers crossed and lots of prayers.
MW says I am 2-3 and mostly effaced. Had a bloody show and more plug loss yest. but might have been from PE too.
I am 39, 1 day , so I am more preg. than I have ever been!
Praying for my baby boy to be born already. I have relatives visiting and waiting around!!!!
( No pressure, right?)

I don't post often but thanks for all of the great links and threads everyone.
