What do I do with carrot tops?

I have carrots from my garden and do not want to waste the greens if they are edible, which I am pretty sure they are . What can I do with them? I was thinking I could use them for broth at least...

Here's a great soup recipe using carrot tops.

Mmmm, running out to check this recipe right now.

I save the tops and add them to my bone broths.

I love fresh carrot tops! I just toss them on top of salads and other foods as-is most of the time. I also use them in soup broths but, really, we usually eat them raw. They smell great too! Oh, yum, and I love to add them to cold potato soup. The kids would rather have the carrot tops than the carrots

While I love fresh garden carrots, I have to agree with your kiddos, the tops are the yummiest part!!!

I also love radish top soup. Peppery, green and delicious!!!

I steep them for a tea ... maybe not everyone's cup of tea (har har), but I really like it.

I chop them and use them in place of dill in scrambled eggs. They taste a lot like dill, but stronger.

I never even knew they were edible! I am definitely going to try some next time I get the chance. My local CSA cuts the tops off after the first one or two harvests.
