Hugely TMI, I'm sure

My labia has been so swollen for days and days and days. It is SO painful. I haven't worn anything but pajama pants and I won't even wear underwear. It's hard to even wipe properly, so there have been lots of showers LOL
Today, after shower number 2, I put on underwear, a cloth pantyliner and yoga pants because I have a Dr appointment and I don't think they'll appreciate my stylish PJS.
I laid on the couch for like 2 hours and then had to go to the bathroom. I had noticed a little less pressure "down there" after I put on undies and thought maybe it was, uh, holding things in.
So I go to the bathroom and on my pantiliner was this brown liquid. A lot of it. No blood (I rinsed the pantyliner before I put it in the laundry so I would know if it were hiding). I haven't had cramps, although right now I do because I expect them and I'm paranoid but they're nothing like MC cramps.
Is it possible for my swelling to be draining because of the undie tightness? Or am I grasping at straws? It *seemed* like the yuck (that's all I can call it, and it was stinky too) was coming from the swollen parts and not inside me, but I'm not sure

Is it possible that you had an inflamed hair follicle? I occasionally get those, and then need to (sorry TMI) pop them and it results in more fluid than you would expect from such a small body part.

Hope you are feeling better now!

No. This is my entire labia on the right side. I think with a hair follicle it would have to be a little smaller of a swollen area. My 2 yr old suggested I've been lying to him and that I, too, have a penis. That's how swollen it is.
I am going to my Drs so I guess I'll find out either way.

I don't have anything helpful to say, but do keep us posted after your doctor visit. Thinking about you!

I've been swollen like that, but towards the end of the pregnancy and with no discharge. Hoping all is well. . keep us posted when you get back from your DR.

I cancelled it (tyhe Dr apt). If I am miscarrying, then I'd rather not see a bunch of pregnant people and get a bunch of pregnancy information right now. I'm going to duck off the board for now and if it turns out that I wasn't losing the baby afterall, I'll be back.
Good luck to everyone

Thinking of you Mama, and hoping for only good news for you.

I get that sometimes. It's normally the left side of my labia and it's painful. I grit through the pain and put pressure on it and it pops, with white puss like stuff and blood. My mom had it too and the doc said it's nothing to worry about. It goes away but for me it goes away quicker if I pop it.
