Wow. Anyone catch this? If not, there's a link at the bottom.
Lots of wonderful, open dialogue.
Senator Harkin, who chaired, has an obvious interest in having more vaccine safety studies done. He seems very reasonable. He questioned the Director of the NIH as to why we've never seen a study that compares children on the current (bloated) vaccine schedule to children who are on a more conservative shot schedule (8-10 shots.)
Notice that the representative from the NIH squirms the entire time vaccines are discussed, and is forced to admit that some very crucial safety studies have yet to be conducted. After admitting this, he scoffed and said, "Well, I suppose we could do a seventeenth study!" (Or something like that, lol)
Let's all pray/hope that this will lead to great things in regard to appropriate, honest, non-conflicted vaccine research.
"Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) chaired a Senate Appropriations Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Subcommittee hearing on autism research. Thomas Insel, Director of the Nat'l Institute of Health along with various experts on autism testified before the subcommittee."
