Leg cramps a sign of early labor?

So unusually so I've been having really bad cramps in my calves this morning, I'm wondering if this could be a pre-labor sign?? Maybe I'm just wishful thinking....I am so ready for this baby!!

I just noticed them in my thighs as well.

I've never heard of leg cramps as a sign of impending labor, but if any of my past three labors have taught me anything, it's to never say never! Have you tried drinking extra water? Eat an extra banana or two? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

leg cramps don't seem to mean anything for me...i've been having them all week and i'm still only dilated to 1.

They are not a sign of labor. That would be nice though. I had a wicked one this morning.

My body must be going crazy today! I've had SEVERE leg cramps but hardly any BH contractions today?! Not to mention I "thought" I had some blood streaked mucus this morning but haven't since.... Today has been one wierd day because I've hardly had any cramps either! Too wierd.... Thanks for the input, hopefully I don't go completely crazy before my sweet baby girl comes
