I went to the MW today. I haven't gained any weight in the last 3 weeks which I thought was odd but they weren't too concerned. I'm 2-2.5 dialated and baby is low and very "touchable". She said there is no mucus plug in there anymore. She put me on the monitor and said that baby looks great. And when she said that I would not be making it to 40 weeks I wanted to kiss her. So, I'll be 37 weeks on sat and I thinking maybe I'll start dtd again (poor dh) and seeing what I can do to convince this one to come. What do you thinK? Any good tips on getting the ball rolling? I'm anxious to get the show on the road but I also dread putting myself in false labor and being unnecessarily uncomfortable. OH! And I almost forgot, I'm GBS neg so I can labor at home and not worry about coming in for antibiotics. Yeah!!

Yay for a great appointment! It sounds like everything is right on track, huh? The only things I've been doing for getting the show on the road so to speak are trying to stay upright and active as much as possible. Walking. Drinking red raspberry leaf tea. And taking evening primrose oil capsules. These things won't make labor start if baby/your body aren't ready but they will all help with creating the most likely scenario kwim? Keep us posted!
