Just curious on what babies do. I'm sure there will be differences in either direction. My 11 wk old has been gaining a 1/2 lb a week since he was born. I wonder when the weight gain slows down?

Your LO's weight gain is well within the average for EBF babies.
According to Kellymom, average weight gain ranges from 5 to 8.5 oz a week up to four months, 3.25 to 5 oz a week from 4 to 6 months and 1.75 to 4 oz a week from 6 to 12 months. The average BF baby doubles birth weight by 3 to 4 months and triples by age one.

DS had a ridiculous weight gain. Born at 5lb 10oz, he weighed 9 pounds three weeks later. At two months he weighed 15 pounds. At 4 months, he weight 20 pounds. Now nearly 1 year old he weighs 27 pounds. He was EBF til 9 months, when he started to eat some solids.
He still gets about 80-90% (different from day to day) of his calories from breastmilk.
