Just saw that John Hughes died

I know I'm on the old side here, but I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He wasn't even old - only 59. I was definitely a fan of all those 80's teen flicks.

Bueller? Bueller?

RIP

Definitely too young!

I graduated from high school in 1986. I loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off and the Breakfast Club. I've never actually seen Pretty in Pink or 16 Candles.

We are currently watching Uncle Buck, just got it in the mail and DD picked it up and asked if we could watch it. I told DH that John Hughes died today so we should watch instead of our other movie we got which is the Goonies. We got some fun family movies.

Here's to a man who made a bunch of wonderful movies for generations of families to enjoy.

Samantha: I can't believe I gave my panties to a geek.

Long Duk Dong: Oooooooh. Seeeeeexy Girlfriend.

Classic last lines of a movie:
Jake: Happy birthday, Samantha. Make a wish.
Samantha: Well, it already came true.

::SWOON::

Oh, I could go on....my favorite two movies.
Man, how sad. Sixteen Candles and Breakfast club are iconic.
