DS is just 10 months, but I'm ready to start reading about gentle discipline, and introducing the concept to DH. I've had a brief look at the resources sticky, and there are SO many books listed. What are your favorites?

for toddlers, becoming the parent you want to be.

I second Becoming the Parent You Want to Be. I read it when DD had just turned 1 and it gave me some great practical ideas. I also like Playful Parenting for little ones. Even though some of the ideas won't work until they're a little older, it introduces the concept of connecting through play, and I think that is a great goal at any age!

Good for you for starting to read about GD! It was a hard transition for me from meeting DD's every need as a baby to starting to set limits for a toddler and I definitely needed some guidance to get started.

Thank you for your replies, which I only just noticed! There wasn't any response initially, and I stopped checking until today.
