Powder???

Thread Starter
Can I use powder with my BG diapers? My son has been fighting diaper rash and I would like to be more proactive about it. I have some of the Burts Bees powder and just want to make sure it won't affect the absorbancy of my diapers.

I don't hink powders would effect the absorbancy of your dipes.

You could try Claymazing Powder by kindhearted women, raw silk liners, a few drops of GSE in a spray bottle for your wipe solution, and lots of naked bum time

I think powder is okay, but you may want to throw a liner on just in case. We recently discovered Grandma El's cream, and won't go back. That stuff is amazing! I haven't found it in any stores, but there are a few sites with free shipping.

I've never heard of powders causing any problems, just standard diaper creams that might cause build-up/wicking.

I wouldn't use powder on them without a liner if you are referring to the pockets- you can give it a try, but when I've tried a couple different things, it has always ended up sticking in and ends up leaking next time around. If it is the All In Ones, it might be okay.

with any natural fiber diapers you should be fine.
We stepped away from synthetic/polymer type diapers long time ago so I don't know what the impacts are on that type of fabric.
