so sad about this! with the passing of MJ and now him, i feel a lot of my childhood is fading away. at least they leave their great works behind. RIP!!!

His movies helped me get through junior high and high school, and I still love them. So sad that he died so young. RIP

I have been changing my FB all day to one liners from several John Hughes movies and within minutes someone responds with the next line...

Like, Dong where is my automobile??

Some wrote AUTO MOBILLLLEEE??? Lake big lake.

my favorite responses was to "fred shes gotten her boobies..."

I loved his films, Pretty in Pink and Ferris Buellers Day Off are my 2 favs.

So, so sad. High school class of 1986 here...I will never forget watching The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles with my friends.
