a good cod liver oil for 3 year old

I am looking to find a good quality cod liver oil (no synthetic vitamins, good levels of vitamin A & D) that doesn't taste like c**p! :Puke

My DS is 3.5 and I just don't he's not going to swallow the stuff that I take. I use the Green Pastures Blue Ice CLO & high vitamin butter oil. I had some Nordic Naturalskids CLO but it has extremely low levels of vitamin D, I'm guessing because they have purified the hell out of the oil.

I've tried nearly everything on the market, I think (including fermented raw CLO which made my son to gag and my daughter actually puked three times while trying to eat it). In the end, we use Nature's Way CLO (I trust the company and while their gel copsules aren't specifically chewable, both of my kids chew them just fine)

I thought I read that EVERY CLO *except* the Green Pasture's Fermented CLO has synthetic vitamin A??? Am I wrong on this? (Anyone have links to share?)

TIA!

LOL--I totally understand why! I do literally 'gag' mine down each time I take it...
