diaper for photo shoot

I'm thinking you ladies could help me out. We are going to do professional photos of my 6 mo (a fabulous shower gift from DH's work!) soon and I want to do some shots in a cute diaper. We have a great dress that was given to us for the other shots but I'm thinking I could buy something cute for the diaper shots. We pretty much do prefolds and motherease one size. The ME covers work great but aren't what I want for photos. I'll consider anything (most people buy outfits for these things so why can't I buy a diaper for it! lol!) I haven't tried any aio or pockets but maybe this would be the opportunity to do it. Also, do you think a solid or print would photograph better?

I got a gift cert for a photo shoot for my shower gift, too! It was in November so I had them take a picture of the baby in his Santa hat with only a red Thirsties diaper on - it turned out adorable! Unfortunately I don't have any scanned to show. But the solid print Thirsties worked out great, the color was bright and bold and showed up great. I think a solid would work better than a print IMO.

I think a solid too - and you wouldn't necessarily need to have something with a cover for just a short time. You could use a fitted - we did some in Kissaluvs when dd was tiny. I think it would depend on if your pics are in black and white, or colour. Why not ask the photographer what colours would work best? You might just ask in terms of 'clothing' rather than diaper because that may turn some people off. And what a great shower gift!

I would do a solid, and I would look around for the perfect color. BGs have a lot of cute colors, and so do FBs. Match the diaper to the outfit =)
