Introducing Isaac!

Thread Starter
He's here! No induction needed.
I started having contractions at 3:30ish am and delivered him at 6:28am. It was fast and furious!
He was my biggest and my earliest.
I was 8 cm when I got to the hospital, crazy!

This is so jumbled up, but I am just so in love and excited that he is safe and sound!

Isaac Reece
7 lb. 11 oz.
19 inches
born today at 38 weeks, 2 days

To anyone who has been putting off taking photos, take them NOW! I just did those self portraits a few days ago and am so glad I did!

Definitely pack your own snacks! I had my apple with peanut butter and bagel with cream cheese a few hours ago and now I am having my Campbell's soup at hand (thanks Thorn!) and cottage cheese. The breakfast they brought was pathetic and I didn't touch it.
I brought oatmeal, more soup and homemade muffins (with almond meal for protein) for later.

Also, a few things that led up to labor for me..... hopefully some of you will see these signs soon.

Perfect skin until about 5 days ago, then broke out on my chin and around my mouth.... VERY thirsty last night from about 11pm-3am. Had a CRAZY dream about an opening cervix right before contractions began. (probably from looking at the cervix photo thread ) Suddenly wanted to be very close to my hubby, but there was not time. Pooped at home as soon as contractions started. Much rather get it over with there than while pushing baby out.

I'll be checking in this weekend and hope other babies will be joining us!

I am totally loving that this worked. Doesn't it help to really know what your cervix looks like? Right on mama!
