Embellished clothing

So I really want to make cute baby clothes but I don't have a sewing machine yet and I've been trying to think of things to do to make cute stuff for my son. I've done a few things already (tissue paper tie dye, fabric paint) but I'm just looking for more easy and fun things to make cute clothing. Spam me with links please! I'm also looking for easy craft projects to do during nap time - It is really helping me stay sane right now in this heat to have craft projects to do.

Have you seen the Alabama Stitch book? I LOVE it and it would be adorable to make some baby clothes in that style. No sewing machine required either! There's a free project on the Alabama Chanin blog- http://alabamachanin.com/journal/bir...rt-diy-project SO cute! I've just used acrylic craft paint instead of fabric paint because that's what I have and it works just fine. Tissue paper tie dye sounds really cool, I'm checking in out right now.

I just did a bunch of embroidered monkeys on some onesies - they turned out really cute! www.sublimestitching.com has really adorable simple patterns and very basic instructions for getting started.
