weird baby movements

It feels like breathing. It isn't hiccups, the head is down and on my bladder - Hiccups are a more succinct almost tapping feeling.

This feeling is up toward my ribs, where baby's back is resting. If I rest my hand on my belly it feels like someone breathing quickly. It happens a few times then stops, only to happen again a little while later. I can feel baby's legs pointed toward my other side and he isn't kicking while this happens.

Has anyone else noticed this? What do you think it is? Could it be 'practice breathing'? I wouldn't think I'd be able to feel that but who knows.

I have no idea what it is, but when my babe has hiccups I feel it in two spots, their chest area and the head. When he dropped lower I noticed I could barely feel any of the movement from the head, but could still feel the chest movements really strong. It is actually how I knew Babe was head down even though m/w thought otherwise. It could be that you are feeling hiccups or maybe it is practice breathing, I am not really sure.

It could be, I suppose! You never know what's going on in there ...

I wish we had built in windows so we could spy on them

I think they would be mad if we kept peeking in on them like that and tapping on the glass

I think I know what you mean, and I always thought it was some sort of booty bounce Like a push, push, push feeling. Hmmm.

Ds did that a lot, but this one hasn't.
