I am so proud of my tiny boobs!

My baby was born way smaller than my dd, at 6.6lbs. He is now 12 days old yesterday at his pp midwife check-up, he weighed in at 7.2lbs! I was told that it takes 2 weeks to get back to the birth weight. He doesn't even nurse that often or long, but just wants to sleep. The crazy thing is, my milk is in, but I am still quite small. I was a 34aa in a push up bra before my milk came in, and not that much bigger now. So it can be done ladies! I must be producing heavy cream. I am just so happy. I was a little worried that I wouldn't have enough milk for my baby, but I must have enough. :

Yay for boobs(and boob milk)!

I've heard a lot of moms say that they couldn't make enough milk or were afraid they were starving their baby by breastfeeding, but it is really a supply and demand process. If you think baby is still hungry, just put her back to the breast, and the more she sucks, the more you will make. It never stops. :

Yep, I'm pretty small chested pre-preg (about an A borderline B) and I always end up with an oversupply of milk. Boob size has nothing to do with milk production. My DS1 was 7.5lbs at birth and all the way up to 18 lbs at 4 mos. He was like the Michellin Tire man

Keep up the good work mama!

And be thankful, too :

I'm a 36C non-pregnant/nursing (okay, I was 6 years ago the last time I wasn't pg or nursing or both!) I just got my new Bravado bras which are double plus mediums - the largest cup size they sell. I'm 16 days pp and they fit - but NO WAY could I have worn them while engorged - I don't think anyone makes bras that would fit me engorged. It's really hard for my babied to get my nipples in their moths at that point, too!

So I say be thankful for "small" blessings!

I'm an A cup when not nursing and a B when nursing. I totally can relate. I've always been (well, since high school) happy to have smaller breasts. I love not having to wear a bra and yes, I've always had enough milk! In fact, I used to choke my daughter with the amounts of milk I had...
