i think baby has moved a bit because my god my pelvis hurts, i can hardly walk!! and my neathers are swollen, i went a hunting for the elusive Cervix and i can actually find it, where as earlier in the week i couldnt. so i think its coming forward a bit. have had two of prodromal labour, spent today with the TENS machine on, that was heaven. no other signs things are happening thought. anyone else have sore swollen bits? any ideas to help make it less sore?

1o days till due date. not long left now.

with you all the way on this. Walking at times absolutely excruciating. Swollen nethers... but last time I checked still couldn't find my cervix. I have felt my baby move simultaneously push out my perineum... that was fun... and all this while constant prodromal for like 2 solid weeks plus.

Love to hear the anyday now from the midwife... and the chiro.... and the well I think the doula is more cautious.

Anyway, been hearing that for weeks.. and hearing how I'd go before my due date.... but alas I'm due on Monday and nothing is screaming out right now.

Even when I'm having cantraction every 3 minutes..... I take stock in nothing anymore... I could totaly see me having a Harper Moon kinda birth since I now longer put stock in my contrax.

Yes to the swollen bits. I only really notice when I use the restroom and I'm like, "Woah, I'm huge down there!" Sometimes when I sit on a hard chair, I get some painful twinges from all the swelling. I can only imagine and cringe at what it's going to be like after I push this kid out. Ice packs, please!

My best friend told me that sitting on her birthing ball helped her because it was a squishy surface, also felt good after she gave birth. I've also heard of some ladies sitting on an inflatable rubber donut you can get at the drug store or medical supply store (the kind you get if you break your tailbone or have awful hemorrhoids) or even a Boppy...anything to take pressure off your girly bits.
