Where to buy Nursing Tanks *size question added*

Can anyone tell me where is the best place to order a nursing tank top from? Since I will be nursing a newborn in the fall/winter I would like to have a couple so my belly can stay covered even if I have to lift my shirt up.
Any links to a good tank top would be great too as there seems to be so many and Im confused as to which one would be best.
Thanks!

I love my target nursing tanks. They're fairly inexpensive (for nursing tanks) and are just the right length.

Is this the one your talking about??
I am a D cup right now so will probably be a large D or a DD once I start breastfeeding. Are these tanks supportive enough?

I've tried a few different ones and my all time favorite is the Glamourmom tank (www.glamourmom.com). I started off with ones I got on ebay for $5-10 and have gotten the "color of the month" for $24.99 (which is the most I've paid for one). I don't have very large breasts, but I do need support and I find that these wear well too (the ones I got on ebay are ones I've had for 5 years and they're in great shape still!).

I have a second favorite -- which I have two of -- and I'm trying to find the name of it ... I can't find the name of it and since I hardly ever wear them (it's probably been over a year since I took it out!) I don't know where it is. But, I highly recommend the glamourmom tanks! You also get points and extra savings if you sign up for their glamourmom club. I wear a tank every day (and I've been breastfeeding for over 7 years so I've been through lots of different nursing bras and tanks).

ETA (again): Here's the other nursing tank, the Corsierre: http://www.corsierre.com/html/product/index.html. It's VERY supportive. A friend got several on ebay and I bought a couple from her (she was trying different sizes to see which worked for her) and given the price point, I would try to buy it second hand or on sale. My friend is more buxom than I (more of an E/F cup) so it was a bit "too much" for me, but I like it otherwise.

ETA: Glamourmom has two different styles with one being more supportive than the other: the nursing bra TOPS and the nursing bra TANKS. There's definitely a difference in how supportive the two are.

I'm normally a D/DD and got up into F/G range during the newborn period with my first child. The glamourmom tank wasn't supportive enough for me, but I loved the Bravado tank. It's pretty expensive, but it has a fully supportive nursing bra instead of one of the shelf ones.

They're nice because you can order by band/cup size rather than a generic S-XL. You can find them on amazon, but I preferred going to a local LC and trying on some a few days postpartum. I'm curious whether the Target tanks are any good for busty mamas, because they're so much more affordable!

I'm a solid DD not pregnant or nursing and an g/f nursing. I wear the Target tanks all the time. They're not as supportive as a good bra, but they do offer some support. They also give you a uni-boob. If I want to look nice I wear an actual bra that lifts the girls up a little higher and separates them some.

I'm comfortable in them but, I'm totally comfortable going braless whenever I'm at home, so if you're not then you might want more support.

I love the Target tanks also, as long as I don't care about the uni-boob. Otherwise I love the Bravado tanks.

I am curious about the Bravado tanks. I bought one in their biggest size when they first came out (I think it was 2007). I was probably about a G cup around then and my breasts didn't fit in the tank. Curious to know if maybe they have changed the sizing.

I used the Target tanks when my daughter was born in 2005. I was an H cup so very large and in much need of support and these were my favorite tanks. It was July and I would wear them as shirts with nothing over them (and I am very self-concious about my breasts) so they definitely held the girls up well. But I remember wanting to buy more around her first birthday and they weren't selling them anymore. I'm happy to know they're back!

Another thumbs up for target nursing tanks! I initially bought a couple of nursing bras but I always had to worry about what to wear on top of the bra. First month or so, I used the bras because I was pretty tender and I really needed the pading and the support for 40D size. But afterwards, I have been wearing target tanks pretty much everyday! I wear them alone or match with cardigan or anything. And since it covers tummy, you can wear regular non-nursing tops and pull up. No prob.
I also have one bravado nursing tank and it is nice but not worth the price IMO. I got this one at clearance sale for 50% off ($25?) and still much more than target ones ($16?). Now I think I am probably 38C/D and I find target tanks provide plenty of support. I would get one each first then buy more of the ones you like.
Also, I really didn't like any of the "nursing" tops that have boob access through holes. Just awkward to manuver, especially wth a nursing bra underneath. I ended up buying regular v-neck tees that have buttons down the front from old navy and they are great!
Good luck!

Can someone tell me what size I would need to buy? I am a 34D right now but would like it to be able to grow with me when I start nursing. Do I want a Medium or Large in the target one?

I was 34B/36B before pregnancy. During, I was 38B (rib cage expansion mostly but boobs were just slightly bigger). PP, I was 40D (Wow I was surprised!) for at east 4-5 mos. It depends. Some of my friends did not change this much. But I would say err on the side of too big since if the bra is too tight, you might get clogged duct/mastitis.

I would NOT buy anything until right before birth, like36+ weeks, though. At that point, the standard(?) formula is to add one size to chest and one size to boob. (i.e. if you are 34C when you're 36weeks preg, you should buy nursing bras for 36D). Also at that point, you don' really want to go out all that much, but TRY BRAS ON! A lot of the bras of same size marking fit differently. Buy only a few.

And then, you should also go bra shopping ~6weeks PP. Some people get their rib cage back to normal plus their boobs shrink a bit after the initial balooning of boobs from the milk coming in. This did not happen to me. I was 40D for months. My boobs are still expanding and contracting with each feeding at 8mo so it's a constant adjustment.

Good luck!

I am a 34C and can wear small or medium tanks from target. (I typically wear small or medium sized T-shirts) I am most comfy in the med. nursing tanks.
I love these tanks; I ordered pretty much every color from target online and wear them everyday under my regular shirts.

how I was at 38 weeks, was 40D. After the birth, 38DD+. Rib cage shrunk some, but boobs grew more. I sent my dear sweet husband to target for the biggest darn nursing tank they had, it was XL or XXL, and honestly a little too small at first! Now, 2+ years later, my bra size is pretty much back to pre-pregnancy size, 36C, even though I'm still nursing. and that first nursing tank still fits OK, looser now but still fine. they are pretty forgiving for sizes.
