BumGenius Organic-dry time?

I'm starting to change my mind on what I want to do for CDing. I was thinking prefolds and Thirsties covers, but after doing some math, the one size Organic BGs would be just a little more expensive new-and if I can find them used, it'll be pretty much the same price. I used the orginal BGs (1.0's) on my now 3 year old and while I liked them, I didnt like stuffing, I didnt like the inserts all that much, and I kept having issues with smell, which wasnt an issue with my organic fitteds.

I sold those not long ago, as I decided I wasnt going to use them again. Now I'm preggo again and my fiance is fine with CDing (I LOVE HIM! )

Anyway, I'm leaning towards the Organic BGs since I have 4 other kids and the faster/easier the CDing system, the better. However, I'm worried about drying time. My fitteds never dried in one cycle (an hour in a gas commercial dryer) and I cant afford to keep running them through over and over. If you've used them, how well do they dry? Is one cycle generally enough? Also, any other issues I should know about? I've read reviews, know that I need to wash them on hot many times before using-but if anyone had any major issues with them, please let me know.

I'm also undecided about velcro or snaps. I didnt like snaps before-I like the ease and customization of velcro, but people are saying the velcro isnt lasting. Gah! Any opinions on that as well?

TIA!

We've been using them pretty much exclusively for a couple of months now, and I still love them! However, they do take about 90 minutes to dry. Usually I try to wash diapers in the evening and hang them up to dry over night, then I just toss them in the dryer for 30 min and they are dry.
I haven't had any issues at all with them. I have the velcro ones and the velco is holding up just fine (I wash every other day). They are discontinuing the velco ones so if you decide to go with those you should be able to find some good deals.

Ooo good to know. I'll keep my eyes open for some good deals on them

I actually talked it over with my fiance and he said he prefers the prefolds/Thirsties better. His reason? "The snaps in the front look dumb, the thirsties are cuter."

So, I think I'll get prefolds as my main diaper supply and maybe get a couple BG O's for stuff like going out, babysitters, etc. I've actually got 2 in diapers already-hopefully the older one will be potty trained by the time this one comes (she BETTER be, darned stubborn child is almost 4!), but I'l definately have at least 2 in diapers, so the one size will be nice for that-I can use them on whoever I need to But that'll also make the drying time less of an issue. I can just throw them in the dryer and then let them air dry the rest of the way and it wont be a big deal.
