Melissa - it looks like you are right - your temps seem to be heading back to a pre-o level. Otherwise looks good!
LMBO Corin! Thanks for that :-) It is a much-needed laugh just when I was trying to convince DH that we should put the maternity stuff in the for-storage-at-the-in-laws pile of boxes (along with the cloth diapers and baby clothes).

CD 19, possible 1DPO -- DMaI!!!

Ah, gals, you are all so sweet Thanks so much... it's just great that there are other wacky folks out there that *get* that it is so darn exciting that I may have Oed!

(My hhh also gets it, but he isn't very exciteable, kwim? I mean, yeah, if we're talking about Spiderman 2 coming out, or about *having* a baby, he's excited, but he's never really reached the passionate heights that I have! And I must say, his reaction was mostly, "crap, we didn't have sex on monday." And I said, "yeah, but we had sex last night and sunday and saturday and friday... some of that sperm's still gotta be swimming!")

Dude, Korin, your song rawks! I started crying/ laughing! I'm still also thinking about the Kung Fu fighting song, too, nearly everytime I do my DMaI chant to myself:LOL

Interpret girlie action in whatever manner you choose, Jesse! I think I may have read that book you love before I wrote my three day novel in 2002. (the TDN is a contest run out of Vancouver. Basically, you write a novel on labor day weekend. My novel was about a lesbian couple who move to Toronto from CA and have a baby. They're characters I've written about before and love... needless to say, I didn't place, cause well, it was my first novel attempt. I keep meaning to do it again, but it was a *tough* weekend.)

Adina What can I say? Nothing! Life sucks and is totally unfair and anyone who says different is trying to sell you something. Take care of yourself while you're waiting out limbo! Lavendar baths for us all! (Or lavendar/ sandlewood baths, which is what I had last night )

to everyone!

Adina - hang in there - hope it's just right around the corner!

Thanks Korin, for your song!

Congratulations, Alexis on O - yahoooooo!!!

Okay all you wise ladies....

So, I took the test this morning - mostly to see what the heck the Clear Blue digital thing was about.

And as I suspected it came up "Not Pregnant".

So i went upstairs, just now, to put in some laundry and ejected the test stick whle I was in the bathroom. And there is the control line just like on a normal test. And then, there is a very faint blue line...where the result usually shows up.

Now, the insrtuctions say you "must disregard" these lines when ejecting the test. But these things have pretty much work the same way as the regular ones right? Just with the holder to interpret?

And pretty much, I know that it is likely just an evap line.

So, my question is, do CB tests have an evap line? What the heck does an evap line look like? No test I have ever taken has ever had one - even the cheapy ones. Hell this is the first time i have ever seen any kind of second line ever - so I want to make sure it isn't anything.

Any input?

I don't know AdinaL, but I'd be pretty darn excited about ANY line!
hi ladies,

adina, sorry i have absolutely no idea about your blue lines.

just wanted to say a quick congratulations to the bfp'ers this month and wish everyone .

my frame of mind varies cycle to cycle with whether posting here helps or adds to my nerves, so i've been mostly just lurking this time.

i'm well into the 2ww and today i ate a jar of pickles, but ummmm, that's not exactly unheard of for me.

fingers crossed!

Ooohhhhh Adina! I would wait a couple of days and retest.

to you
Adina -- I have no words of wisdom either, but I agree with Astrid that you should retest (maybe even tomorrow morning to ease the anticipation?)

Jesse- thanks for the name of your book!

Flitters -- fingers crossed!

some more

Just popping over here....wanted to say

Adina, with my one pregnancy, I got a line when I looked back the second time, after about ten minutes. I asked my midwife about the whole evaporation line thing and she sort of rolled her eyes. So I called the test company and they said that evaporation lines are not a normal occurance. So I say call Clearblue Easy and ask them about the evap loie...

Okay, I am going back to my proper forum...

Adina-

In my HPT experience- which is extensive - evaporation lines usually don't show up for a while - say, a few hours or more. And then, they almost ALWAYS have ZERO color. Like, it's a shadow of where the line WOULD be if there was one. Sometimes they are grayish, sometimes yellow-ish or white. It depends on the brand. But if the control line is pink (or blue), and the faint test line is pink, I would consider it a promising sign.

I have never had an evaporation line with a FRER. I say, test with one of those and you will have your answer either way. Maybe wait a day or two, and then do it. (fingers-crosses smilie.)

It definetely has some color. It is blue-ish - but very faint.

I took the test at 10am...and went back upstairs at 5:30pm. So it had been a few hours.

I will retest on Sunday.

And it was one of those digital ones - so i don't know how the holder reads the result and if the lines mean anything.

I think I will wait and maybe get some other kind of test.

Grrr....just when I think I am okay with this - then something happens to get my hopes up - even though it is totally stupid to get my hopes up.

I have never had an evap line iwth any test i have ever used....so this is all new to me.
I've never had an evaporation line either, I second the vote to retest with a FRER, friday should be enough time though, if it is a faint positive, your levels will have doubled by friday and should certainly be picked up by a FRER. (I am a compulsive tester, so even though I've only had 3 pregnancies, I know my tests!:LOL )
I know nothing about the digital tests, other than that I looked at them and figured if they were smart they'd sell refills to the unit. I think that would set them above and apart from the competition for anyone who has been trying for more than a cycle or two!
Well after some research the letter has been sent to refer me to a fertility clinic with a very good reputation and it's only 20 min away from me! YEAH! So that ball is in play.
The dogs are crazy tonight, I can hear the coyotes running outside near the house, Bedlam is apparently a howler (gee what fun) and has been joining them from the living room, which of course gets everybody else going as well. Hopefully everyone will be quiet before I try to go to bed at 11.
Is anyone else testing shortly?
Adina-crossing my fingers for you! I have taken countless tests and never had an evap line.
BUT-with my 2nd I took a test and saw no line so went back to bed-about 3 hrs later went to throw it away and holy crap I saw this faint line. I thought-oh great-now what do I think? I bought another test right then and it was +!
So I truly hope your line is the right kind of "a line"!!
That would certainly explain all the wierd temps wouldn't it??

Feeling much better myself-played outside in the snow with my kids and built snowmen/women all afternoon and had a wonderful time. Just a takes a reminder of how lucky I am to get back on track
Thanks everyone!

CD 19-20, trying to remain obnoxious positive I'm 2dpo

Oh Adina! Much as I really really really want this to be a positive, I'm also slightly worried for you that it will turn out to be a false alarm and get you down even more!

Please, please, please, to the powers that be, PLEASE let Adina have a baby, and PLEASE don't mess with her on this one! Merci

That said, I will say this "a line is a line" -- and especially since it is colored, that gives me SO much hope for you!

Ann -- sounds like a great time making snow people! Glad it brightened your day

Ok, everyone, I am a bit worried to go to sleep tonight, lest my temperture be back down in the morning and this morning's high turn out to be a fluke... I know this is silly, but I really don't want to jinx it for myself. I am almost tempted not to temp at all tomorrow and to wait a few days... I know that sounds silly, though... I think I just have to get over it! Either I did ovulate (fingers crossed) or I didn't...

BTW, Flitters -- I've been known to eat an entire jar of garlic stuffed olives in one sitting (of course, that was before garlic went on my "do not eat due to IBS" list) so I completely relate to your pickle eating ways! I also like to have onion rings and pancakes in the same meal (and used to love said meal with a martini -- preferably either a sweet one, or a dirty one! YUM!) So, yeah, obviously we are already crazy weird nutcases when it comes to food cravings! :LOL
post #560 of 757
Alexis, I am pretty sure it is a false alarm...but I thought is couldn't hurt to ask everyone what they though.

I just don't know... I guess all I can do is wait!
