Isn't this technically discrimination?

Isnt it technically discrimination if you have a religious exemption for vaccines for example you are catholic or buddhist or whatever and they deny you based on this reason? now mind you this reply is from a jag officer who works for the military and has a child who is probably vaxed on time according to the cdc as well. i know his wife irl and she asked him for me. this is his reply

*the youth center can restrict due to lack of
immunizations b/c they aren't discriminating based on religion,
race, etc. He said b/c it is a health concern by the general
of Ft Benning, it is legitimate.*

If your religion goes against what some vaccines promote then it definitely is also religious discrimination if you ask me. It's also discrimination imo because if all of those other children are vaxed then they have nothing to worry about right, so they are just playing it by their own personal beliefs that everyone should just vaccinate blindly because thats what uncle sam says to do.

why do I feel like I am the only military spouse or person in general willing to fight "the man" for the legal rights my husband and I fought for and could have died for? Noone seems to want to put up the effort and it's killing me! People sue military hospitals all of the time so apparently they're out there but for different reasons.

what a crap shoot...

Have you spoken with a lawyer?

I think I know how you feel. I lived in Mississippi for two years...one of the two states that lacks religious exemption. It's going to take someone suing over the issue in order to get the state to get up to speed. No one is willing to stick their necks out too far, though...no one wants to rock the boat. I moved out of MS a few weeks ago and my daughter is enrolled in 1st grade.

I emailed an attorney yesterday :-) . I'm also planning on contacting our congressman and the media if I have to. I am glad to hear that you moved out of MS I hear they are really hard core about vaxing. Good luck to your DD in first grade
