i have a history urge that needs fulfilling. i'd like to know what kind of needlework my Nana would have done as a girl, in the early 1900s in Newfoundland & Nova Scotia.

any ideas about where i could find this kind of information? i guess i am looking to recreate a typical maritime canada pattern, if i could know what one looks like.
